One show that has viewers riled up every week is Mnakwethu, the polygamy-themed show is yet to be accepted by some viewers...who seem to watch it every week in any case. The anger this week was about the husband trying to take his wife's friend as a second wife.

Usually, the anger comes from viewers labelling the show sexist and humiliating for women, some Tweeps have labelled the practise of polygamy as backwards and degrading for women in general. Last month, self-proclaimed feminist, Simphiwe Dana took to Tweeter to write scathing remarks about the show and even went as far as saying Musa Mseleku has a small penis.

Another ZAleb, Ayanda Borotho also expressed her disgruntled views about the show in a lengthy Instagram post. The backlash forced Mzansi Magic to issue a statement to defend its seemingly, infamous show and the host Musa Mseleku.
