Actress and brand ambassador Nandi Mbatha debuted her runway walk at SA Men's Fashion Week this weekend closing a show for QUITERIA who also debuted his brand new collection from Rainard Lux, a ready to wear collection.
Quiteria who showcased at S.A Men's Fashion Week that took place at V&A Waterfront in Cape Town gave Nandi Mbatha a spotlight to close his show of which Mbatha's showstopper mini dress was the talk of the town.
The monochrome collection that Nandi modelled a dress from Quiteria explained as a collection that defines him as a black man in a society where everything is questionable and judged based on your colour.
"The Rainard Lux collection is inspired by transforming into being far beyond any human being imagination, I have been pulled far beyond underneath and realised the only rises and metaphor was for me to begin self-discovery," said Quiteria Kekana founder and creative director of Quiteria Atelier and Rainard Lux.
Nandi speaking about her runway debut she said as much as she is not your "normal' runway height girl she doesn't feel any pressure, "I've had the privilege of having modelling jobs also with really tall skinny girls who fit the brief better than me, it never effected my confidence or my work" said Nandi.
