Mr. Remi Robot encouraged Dr. Soyoola to continue the consultation process, adding that the candidate is on the right path. Alhaji Oke also weighed in, pointing out that since the start of the APC-led administration, Ward 09 has not produced an elected representative. He said he was confident Dr. Soyoola would be able to secure effective representation for Ward 09, Abeokuta North LGA, and Ogun Central Senatorial District.

Support expands to senatorial ambition

Hon. Wale Bello, the Governor’s Liaison Officer for Abeokuta North, announced his support for Dr. Soyoola’s senatorial bid. He described Dr. Soyoola as “capable, agile, and the best candidate to represent us in Ogun Central Senatorial District,” arguing that the candidate’s background and suitability align with the expectations of the area.

Bello further said, “I supported him because he is from my ward, Ward 09, Abeokuta North LGA. He is capable and has the strength to represent Ogun Central.”

Alhaji Akeem Sobayo Adesina, identified as the former Abeokuta North party chairman, also offered recognition to Dr. Soyoola.
