Supporters and political stakeholders gathered on Friday for the Ogun-East Mega Rally, using the event to affirm their backing for the political ambitions of Sen. Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, while intensifying grassroots organising efforts across Ogun State.
Amb. Azeez Ayomikun Ibrahim, founder of Zee 1 for Yayi, said the attendance of the organisation’s Ijebu North-East chapter underscored its resolve to build local-level support for the senator.
Ibrahim said the group joined the rally to cooperate with supporters and other stakeholders in pursuing Yayi’s political goals through coordinated outreach and direct engagement with residents.
“Taking part in the Ogun-East Mega Rally shows our dedication to the Yayi movement and our resolve to organise support from the grassroots,” he said. “We hold that meaningful political involvement starts by connecting with people and encouraging them to embrace a common vision.”
He praised members of the Ijebu North-East chapter for turning out at the event, saying their participation reflected cohesion within the group and commitment to its mission.
The movement, he said, would keep developing its community structures and urging members to take an active role in political mobilisation in communities throughout Ogun State.
Ibrahim said consistent contact with residents, traditional and community figures, young people and other interested groups was necessary to create a durable political organisation with reach at the local level.
He also urged Zee 1 for Yayi members to preserve unity, discipline and dedication as their campaign and mobilisation work continues in support of Yayi.
The Ogun-East Mega Rally gave supporters a platform to display solidarity and renew their involvement in the political process, he said.
Ibrahim restated that Zee 1 for Yayi intends to broaden its membership and deepen its presence in local government areas across Ogun State.
