A screening exercise held on Monday, June 12 at the Cultural Centre in Abeokuta cleared an aspirant to formally seek the party ticket to represent the people of Obafemi Owode in the State House of Assembly.

The exercise took place at the June 12 Cultural Centre Abeokuta, where the aspirant was assessed and approved to move forward in the process for the legislative contest.
What the aspirant said after the exercise
Speaking to journalists shortly after the screening, Adenike Osoba-Ademokun characterised the process as seamless and well organised.
She praised the party leadership and the screening committee, describing the exercise as smooth and transparent.
“The exercise has been wonderful. The arrangement was fantastic, and the screeners did a great job. Everything has been going on smoothly so far,” she said.
Readiness for the contest and support base
Osoba-Ademokun said she is confident in her preparedness for the election, pointing to strong grassroots backing across the constituency.
She added that her years of political involvement have provided her with the experience she believes will enable her to serve effectively.
“I am very much prepared, and I have my people behind me. I am a grassroots politician and have been in politics for over 15 years. I’m ready with my people; we are good to go,” she added.
