Nasarawa Amazons have reached their second straight President Federation Cup final after edging Sunshine Queens 2-1 in a tense semi-final on Wednesday.
The Lafia outfit looked set for the win when Hembafan Ayatsea put them ahead in the 18th minute, but the game swung dramatically late on as both sides pushed for a breakthrough.
Sunshine Queens restored parity in stoppage time, grabbing an equaliser in the 93rd minute through Toyin Oyewole to set up a possible penalty shootout.
Instead, Nasarawa Amazons struck straight away as Alani Jumoke netted in the 94th minute, clinching a dramatic win and sending them into the title match.

In the other semi-final, Heartland Queens also produced a comeback to book their place in the final. They started brighter, with Umejiaku Oluebube scoring in the 18th minute to give the Owerri club an early advantage.
FC Robo Queens levelled through Tosin Rafiu in the 53rd minute, turning the contest into a see-saw battle as both teams searched for the decisive goal.
Faith Samson then emerged as the match hero for Heartland Queens, scoring the winning strike in the 87th minute to secure a 2-1 victory.
The 2026 President Federation Cup Women’s Final is scheduled for July 11 at Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba, Delta State. Nasarawa Amazons will be looking to lift the trophy after losing the championship to Rivers Angels in last year’s final, while Heartland Queens aim for a landmark success.
