Oredipe Team Says Kudirat Balogun Choice Brings Experience to Deputy Ticket

A statement released on Tuesday by Otunba Tunji Oredipe Team (OTO Team) said the emergence of Mrs. Balogun as the running mate to Senator Adeola signals what the group described as a deliberate mix of political experience, professional capability, and forward-looking leadership aimed at pushing the state’s development agenda forward.

The statement argued that the pairing creates a ticket capable of earning trust from voters and delivering workable governance if elected.

“Senator Adeola has once again shown his determination to assemble an inclusive and capable leadership team. The selection of Mrs. Kudirat Abiodun Adegunwa-Balogun is a strategic move that brings together political strength with corporate performance and administrative discipline,” Oredipe said.

Oredipe said that while Senator Adeola offers years of legislative work, sustained engagement with communities, and a forward agenda, Mrs. Balogun brings extensive experience in finance, entrepreneurship, corporate governance, and managing institutions.

He added that the collaboration blends experience with new approaches, public service with professional expertise, and strong connections to ordinary people alongside disciplined financial management. The team described the ticket as offering Ogun residents renewed confidence in careful stewardship, inclusive economic progress, and governance designed around citizens’ needs.

Calling himself a proud son and Otunba of Ososa Kingdom, Oredipe said he believes the Yayi-Balogun ticket has the ability to reshape Ogun State through purposeful leadership and targeted development initiatives. He urged party members and supporters throughout the state to unite behind the candidates and mobilise to ensure their victory at the polls.

“I am convinced this combination reflects the transformational leadership Ogun State requires at this moment. Together, they bring the competence, character, and vision needed to take our state further and deliver lasting development for all citizens,” Oredipe said.

He concluded by wishing the candidates success as they move into the next phase of the campaign, expressing confidence that their partnership would strengthen democratic governance and speed up socio-economic advancement across Ogun State.
