Newlywed actress Rorisang Mohapi-Grootboom has sent a pointed message to women she believes are crossing the line when it comes to her marriage—especially those who keep trying to get close to her husband, Prince Grootboom.
The Kwa Baba star posted her warning on social media on Monday, 15 June 2026, calling out the women who allegedly keep sliding into Prince’s DMs, and also taking aim at one person in particular whom she claims tried to get Prince’s attention right in front of her.
In a video that has since been removed, Rorisang said she wanted to share a “short story” about what recently happened at Fourways Mall, where she and her partner went shopping together.
She explained that while she waited in the car, Prince—who was holding a bouquet he had just bought for her—was approached by a woman who asked whether the flowers were meant for her. When Prince reportedly said they were for his wife, the woman allegedly pushed the situation further, asking where “the wife” was, despite Rorisang sitting just a few metres away.
Rorisang said the incident clearly unsettled Prince, and that later their Uber driver told him, “You did too much, you embarrassed the girl,” to which Prince responded, “Yeah, because what the flip was she doing?”
After recounting the moment, Rorisang made it clear she wasn’t only upset with the stranger—she was speaking directly to women like her, too.
“If you were at Fourways Mall at around six, you know who you are. Don’t you dare disrespect me,” she warned.
She also said multiple women have been sending Prince “poems” in his inbox, adding that her message to them is equally firm: stop now, or face consequences.
Rorisang’s message was blunt: “Your days are numbered. And you’re not going to get him, so what now? One day is one day, you don’t know me.”
Rorisang and Prince’s love story
Rorisang and Prince first met on the dance floor at White Tiger in Gqeberha, where they danced the night away before going their separate ways. They later reconnected two years after that, when they both turned up for an audition.
That reunion reignited feelings they say neither of them could ignore, and about eight months into the relationship, Prince made his intentions clear.
He proposed in October 2025, and the couple then celebrated their wedding with a traditional ceremony in late December 2025.
Their anniversary now falls on Valentine’s Day, a coincidence Rorisang described earlier this year as “magical.” Speaking about married life, she shared with DRUM that getting married young isn’t for everyone, but that it worked for them.
“People make getting married scary, and I get it. But you tailor your marriage according to what you want, and the fun of it depends on both of you. People spend eight years in relationships, that’s already marriage, so why waste eight years on someone if you don’t see a future with them? If you can spend eight years with them, then you can spend a lifetime with them, and might as well get married.”
Rorisang has also urged people not to give up on love, stressing that romance doesn’t always stay perfect and easy.
