Those alleged incidents were linked to a run of fixtures: Oxford United in December 2025, Ipswich Town in April 2026, and Middlesbrough in May 2026.
Alongside the play-off ban, the disciplinary outcome includes a four-point reduction for Southampton in the 2026/27 season.
With Southampton now out of the play-offs, Middlesbrough will step into their spot for the play-off tie against Hull City on May 23.
Even after the ruling, Southampton retain the option to appeal, and all parties are reportedly seeking to conclude the process by May 20.
