The best and worst moments of 2019

April might've made a lot of ZAlebs fools because the clowning around was at a all time high especially when...

10. Ntsiki Questioned Bonang's Talents
Ntsiki Mazwai is known for her controversial tweets where she shares her thoughts on society and fellow celebs. This time, Queen B was on her chopping board, sharing how she was unsure what Bonang’s talent actually is.

The new TV host, at the time, took to Twitter to compare Bonang Matheba to DJ Zinhle; describing how the House of Bonang founder has more "zing" than Zinhle.

Talk about "you wanna be starting something".

8. #NewCoupleAlert?
Maps Maponyane posted a picture of Boity and according to the caption, it was understood that the Ba Kae hitmaker was feeling under the weather as Maps wished her a speedy recovery.

In the caption, Maps wrote: ''This sick patient is recovering real quick  Get better homie @Boity.''

When he referred to Boity as his ''Homie'', many tweeps assumed that the two might be in a romantic relationship as Maps used to refer to his ex-girlfriend, Nomzamo Mbatha as his ''Buddy'' during the course of their relationship.

Siyabonga Scoop Ngwekazi allegedly took to his Twitter page and vented about his then girlfriend, Akhona Carpede - accusing her of cheating. Scoop later stated that his Twitter account was actually hacked.

Akhona, soon after, posted what seemed like a subtle jab surrounding her relationship with Scoop. Her tweet left many convinced that there was no hacking of accounts on Scoop's end but it left us more convinced on what the truth really is.

Loved up snaps of Somizi and Mohale (#Somhale) brought about feelings of envy from some of their followers, respectively.

However, week into the month, things seemed to have turned southward for the couple as it was apparent that they had both unfollowed each other on Instagram only for them to follow each other back a couple weeks later.  The two continued to be on a rollercoaster of ups and downs for the better half of the year, but of course, there was light at the end of this tunnel.

Khune became tabloid fodder when he was dating Minnie Dlamini and after the pair called it quits, he moved on to fitness bunny, Sbahle Mpisane and the two were rumored to have gotten engaged.

However, after the pair stopped posting pictures of one another, many fans speculated that they had broken up and it seemed like the rumors were true because Itu quickly took to Twitter to post a snap with a young lady who is his bae.
Lady Zamar confirmed the relationship rumors by tweeting that making public announcements about ones private life is a bad idea. She then sent out a tweet about herself and Sjava. How they manage to date without the Twitter FEDS not catching on is the really the most shocking part of all it.
Queen B has a tight inner circle who are apparently governed by an NDA - according to her interview on Metro FM.  Although their bonds are close, the star has never been afraid to cut anyone who crosses her.  The TV personality took to her social media to announce to her fans how she had cancelled a member in the squad.

Sheesh! Protect your peace girl.
In the Rhythm City's storyline at the time, was when a gang led by “Chicken”, played by Nelson Ntombela, ruled the streets of DK and they are feared. The gang leader finds a way to lure a young Dumi, played by Siyabonga Mtshali into a life of crime.

Dumi’s decision to leave the gang proves to have dire consequences when viewers witnessed Chicken and his thugs set Dumi and his families’ shack alight with his little sister Dineo sleeping inside. Dineo unfortunately dies in the blaze.

This was one of the many lessons we learnt from the drama.
