The 18th of June 2013 marks the launch of South Africa’s newest radio station Power FM 98.1
Yesterday the station announced its line-up which features some of the biggest names in the radio industry.
The line-up is quite interesting as it features well-known radio personalities who have recently resigned from their previous radio stations - including Highveld's Pabi Moloi.
See pics from the announcement here.
Power FM’s chairman Given Mkhari explained that the radio station will focus on filling up the gap in broadcasting, targeting South Africans who not only want to see an improvement in their lives but also an improvement within the country. The station is said to be targeting South African adults aged 25-49.
After the line-up was announced, Pabi Moloi took to Twitter to express her joy in the new radio path she’s taken.
@PabiMoloi1h: “ Cute call from my mom excited about me working at a station with the legendary Lawrence Dube (now Tlhabane)! Everyone is excited @powerfmgp”
