Addressing reporters on Thursday in Abeokuta, Ibrahim said the people of Ogun State should be represented by officials with the vision, competence and resolve required to achieve sustainable development and raise living standards.
He said Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda had established a platform for economic expansion, infrastructure delivery and reforms to public institutions. Ibrahim added that the president would need Nigerians’ continued backing to strengthen the progress his administration had already made.
Discussing Governor Dapo Abiodun, the founder of Zee 1 for YAYI commended his performance in infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, industrialisation and the wider expansion of the state economy.
Ibrahim also said Abiodun’s broad experience and knowledge of local needs would equip him to serve effectively as Ogun East’s representative in the National Assembly.
Case for Adeola and grassroots mobilisation
He characterised Senator Olamilekan Adeola as a leader with an established record and public trust. Ibrahim said Adeola’s work in education, youth empowerment, economic advancement and community development had won him support from people across Ogun State.
In his assessment, the senator had repeatedly shown a commitment to public service through several initiatives designed to improve the circumstances of ordinary citizens.
Ibrahim said Zee 1 for YAYI would step up its grassroots campaign throughout the state. The group plans to engage young people, traders, artisans, professionals and community leaders about supporting politicians whose record reflects capability, consistency and dedication to public service.
He called on members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Ogun residents to maintain unity and pursue the shared objective of securing Tinubu’s return to office, electing Abiodun to the Senate, choosing Adeola as governor and supporting other APC candidates. Ibrahim said the effort was necessary to promote continuity, stability and sustainable development.
