Maruwa, Olakiye Rally Behind Tella’s Re-election and APC Candidates

Baba Maruwa and Olakiye Olusesan Samuel, joined by Hon. Saburi Adebayo, have declared support for the re-election campaign of Tella and for candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC), presenting campaign caps, posters and stickers carrying the Maruwa brand.

At the event, Baba Maruwa portrayed Tella as a politician with strong grassroots connections who understands public expectations and advances the interests of people from a range of social and economic circumstances.

He said he would back Tella’s return to office and help organise support at the community level for the lawmaker as well as other APC contenders in the coming elections.

Baba Maruwa said his decision was based on his faith in Tella’s performance as a representative and his wish to ensure that APC candidates receive broad backing from local supporters.

Olakiye Olusesan Samuel also praised Tella, describing him as a political figure whose integrity, dedication and conduct set an example that other leaders should seek to follow.

He said he believed Tella could maintain effective representation and continue programmes intended to meet the concerns of residents throughout Abeokuta North State Constituency.

Olakiye likewise committed himself to Tella’s re-election effort and said he would assist the wider mobilisation campaign for APC candidates ahead of the polls.

In his response, Tella thanked Baba Maruwa, Olakiye and Hon. Saburi Adebayo for their support and for the trust they had placed in his leadership.

The legislator said that, if returned to office, he would remain focused on strong representation, sound lawmaking and lasting development at the grassroots level.

He restated his intention to use his legislative position to advance the welfare and interests of the people, saying he would remain available, answerable and attentive to constituents’ concerns.

Tella also told residents of Abeokuta North that he would continue to carry out his duties with diligence, adding that public confidence and expectations would guide his work in the legislature.
