Members of the Hausa community in Olosun, led by their chairman, Malam Bashir Husani, visited Tella in a show of solidarity and renewed their support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its candidates at every level.
Husani said during the meeting that the group would mobilise its members, including those with Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), to back the party’s candidates in the coming elections.
“Our votes will go to the APC at every level,” he said, adding that the community would act together to help secure victory for the party and its candidates.
The visitors portrayed Yayi as a reliable politician focused on delivering results, saying his record in the National Assembly reflected his ability to provide effective representation and leadership.
They also said Adeola was capable of offering purposeful governance in Ogun State, arguing that his experience and record would enable him to promote further development if he wins the governorship in 2027.
The Hausa residents praised Tella for what they called his close connection to grassroots communities, as well as his accessibility and prompt attention to constituents’ concerns.
They said Tella’s readiness to support residents and his focus on public welfare had built their trust and reinforced their decision to seek his return for another term in the Ogun State House of Assembly.
The group said the visit represented more than an expression of partisan backing. It also confirmed their faith in the APC candidates and their determination to take an active role in the 2027 elections.
Community leaders called on members to maintain unity and make sure eligible voters secured and safeguarded their PVCs. They also pledged to step up mobilisation efforts across the Ita-Oshin area before the polls.
