The Yayi Political Movement (YPM) has moved its Ogun-East Mega Rally to Friday, October 30, while keeping the previously announced location and timing in place.
In a Tuesday notice circulated through its Media and Publicity Department, the political support organisation asked members, backers and other interested parties to revise their arrangements in line with the new schedule.
Reason for the adjustment
YPM said the postponement would provide additional time to coordinate and refine preparations, with the aim of ensuring that the event is conducted smoothly and in an organised manner.
The movement apologised for any disruption caused by the change and thanked its members, supporters and stakeholders for their patience, understanding and ongoing cooperation.
Revised rally programme
- The Ogun-East Mega Rally is now scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 30, at the venue previously announced by the movement.
- Before the rally, a solidarity walk will set off at 7:00 a.m. from Mobalufon Under Bridge in Ijebu-Ode.
- Accreditation will take place as part of the trek arrangements.
- Those attending were encouraged to arrive in good time and follow instructions from designated officials to support an orderly exercise.
YPM said it remains focused on promoting unity, effective coordination, mutual respect and constructive participation among members and stakeholders. It said collective effort would be important to advancing the movement’s goals.
The group called on members, supporters and well-wishers to note the revised October 30 date and make any required changes to their plans.
The Ogun-East Mega Rally forms part of YPM’s political mobilisation campaign in support of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, widely known as Yayi.
