Boity Pens Touching Birthday Post For Her Granny

Boitumelo “Boity” Thulo is now one of the wealthiest ZAlebs currently in the industry. A fact which has meant that the once in-demand television personality and rapper has turned her fame into a lucrative business as she has diversified her brand to include hair products, a fragrance and her own alcoholic beverage with BTS Signature.

Seeing as she does not do much television work, most of the focus has been on her personal life of late. This includes her ongoing long-term relationship with fellow media personality Anton Jafta. But recently, the ZAleb took to her social media to celebrate the milestone celebrated by the matriarch of her family.

For years, Boity has also credited her success to the support she received from her mother Modiehi Thulo. However, the star has also been assertive how growing up in a family which is matriarchal was part of the drive which resulted in her eventual success in the entertainment industry.

As such, Boity recently took to social media to celebrate the matriarch of her family, her grandmother who is affectionately referred to as Gogo Lelo. While Boity did not share what age her grandmother was turning, her post was heartfelt as she penned the caption to the post by writing:

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the most glorious, most phenomenal woman I have ever known and how blessed am I to be able to call her my grandmother? May the Good Lord continue to bless you with more years of health and a happy, joyful, peaceful heart because in doing so, He blesses us ten fold! I love you so so much LELO. I know your best friend, Papa in Heaven is sending you so much love in your heart on your special day.”

The celebrations of her grandmother are bittersweet as Boity suggested in the caption of the post as it marked the first birthday that Gogo Lelo had to spend without her husband and Boity’s grandfather following his passing back in October 2022. A passing which was reported by ZAlebs sharing that:

It is with heavy hearts that media and TV personality Boitumelo ‘Boity’ Thulo lays her beloved grandfather to rest today. The rapper has been taken by emotions since the passing four days ago.

The reality star have taken to social media to share some of the beautiful memories and pictures she shared with her late grandfather. She refereed to him as her grandmother’s best-friend and their relationship was one for the books, since Boity and her biological father did not have such a good relationship.

Taking to Twitter, Boity shared a picture with her grandfather while wishing him a beautiful rest. She has profusely thanked her grandfather for being a great father figure to her while inserting that he was a greatest father a girl could ever ask for.

“Go well, Papa. Thank you for being the greatest father a girl could ever pray for,” wrote Boity on Twitter.
