Traditionally men are expected to ask the fairer sex out but our fave female celebs have been known to flout tradition and take matters into their own hands.
Just like any good love story they started out as friends but secretly wanted to be more.
Priddy Ugly relates that he saw Bontle on TV on an episode of Jika Majika (which Bontle needs ya'll to know, she won!). He was 16 years old and this was a few days after his then girlfriend Lerato had passed away.
They later met at events, and Priddy who says he suffered from Gwababa never asked her out but hassled one of her friends into giving him Bontle's Mxit number.

The two chatted a lot over the years on Mxit and Bontle admits that she and her friends used to 'spazz' over Priddy but she felt he was out of her league.
"I didn't think he would like me, l was dry, I was too tom boyish"
Priddy rubbished that and said he had been into her regardless. The stayed friends until in 2009 Bontle's boyfriend at the time dumped her on her birthday. So a few days after her birthday she hit Priddy up.
"So, I did the right thing, l asked him out and here we are!"
