Here is a look at the husbands of the Real Housewives of Johannesburg and what they do for a living.

Lebo Jojo Mokoena (formerly Gunguluza) is an entrepreneur, a publisher for the South Africa Music Awards (SAMA) Magazine. and a reality star famous for being one of the main cast on The Real Housewives of Johannesburg. 

The beautiful star was married a few years to popular business tycoon- Lebo Gunguluza. The pair got married in an extravagant, invite-only destination wedding in Mauritius in 2017.

Unfortunately, things didn’t work between them and in March 2021, Lebo Mokoena’s husband announced that they were finalizing their divorce after being separated for over a year. 

Despite being divorced, the two Lebos maintain their friendship and are co-parents to their son. They had a very civil divorce and never disclosed the reason for their split.

Known as the feisty one on The Real Housewives of Johannesburg, Mpho Merriweather is a British-African entrepreneur who runs a very successful jewelry business.

Although Mpho gained celebrity status after joining the reality show, details about her private life still remain a mystery as she has revealed very little about it. 

That being said, sources indicate that Mpho Merriweather’s husband is Yoel Kenan. Yoel is a successful businessman and CEO of Africori. 

Known for her gorgeous looks and flamboyant personality, Mpumi was cast in season 2 of The Real Housewives of Johannesburg and quickly became a fan favourite. The reality star was born into a family of business-minded people, is a businesswoman herself, and is also married to a businessman.

Mpumi Mophatlane’s husband is Lenamile Isaac Mophatlane. He is a wealthy businessman and founder of Randvest Capital and Business Connexion Group Ltd.

The Mophatlanes have been happily married for 12 years and they are raising three children together.

Gugu Khathi is an accomplished businesswoman, a fashion icon, a motivational speaker and a former reality star on The Real Housewives of Johannesburg.

The former reality star is married to one of the biggest deejays in South Africa- DJ Tira. The power couple has been together for more than two decades and they have been blessed with three beautiful children.

Durban-born film producer and model Tarina Patel is another favourite face on The Real Housewives of Johannesburg.

Tarina Patel’s husband is Iqbal Sharma- a former powerful government official who has been dominating headlines after his arrest for being involved in a fraud case. Tarina and Iqbal have been married since 2009

Christall Kay is a model, a singer, a lawyer and a reality TV star known for being cast in The Real Housewives of Johannesburg.

The reality star was married to Eddie Greef who is reportedly a senior financial advisor at Liberty. After eight years of marriage that bore one son, the couple divorced in 2019.

Another fan favourite on The Real Housewives of Johannesburg is Brinnette Seopela who besides being a reality star is also a businesswoman, a radio host and a philanthropist.

Brinnette Seopela was married to businessman Themba Gezane who proposed 100 days after they started dating. Like their courtship period, their marriage was also very short lived and the two got divorced just five months after getting married.

Recently, sources reported that Brinnette had moved on and was dating someone new and according to rumours the new man in Brinnette Seopela’s life is football star Andile Jali, the two however denied the dating allegations.
