Mohale Motaung was a name that was introduced to the country via his public whirlwind love story with Somizi Mhlongo back in 2019. Their whirlwind relationship did not take long to get series as in 2020, the couple was engaged and subsequently married.

However, the wheels quickly came off in their relationship when allegations of abuse were circulated and their subsequent divorce or breakup was confirmed. As a result, 2022, was a mud-slinging contest between the two estranged lovers as each attempted to publicly slander the other’s image.
But it seems that time does heal even the deepest of wounds as Mohale revealed to have a new Valentine’s date.
Mohale Motaung teases his new partner
In light of today being Valentine’s Day, our fave ZAlebs- who are in mourning- have been sharing how they plan to spend the special day of love. Mohale took to Twitter to join in on the fun. This is as he shared the gifts and the request from a mystery man who asked to be his Valentine’s date.

Seeing as he was asking his followers whether he should agree or not. It came as no surprise that many told Motaung to agree to the offer.

It seems that they were of the same mind that it is time to actually move on for real this time. This is as Mohale has continually teased moving on from Somizi after their break up. But for the most part, it seemed that these “relationships” were more of a PR stunt rather than the real deal. This includes:
Lasizwe Dambuza:
Mohale and Lasizwe are friends, who seemed to have strengthened the bond of their friendship due to the mutual antagonism against Somzi. This is as Lasizwe has his own gripe with Somizi as he alleged that SomGaga might have been jealous when seeing how his meteoric rise might have threatened his.
But while Mohale seemingly does have a date, Lasizwe took to Twitter to suggest that this Valentine’s Day, he has thrown in the towel and is currently waiting for Lerato Kganyago to reveal what her husband will surprise her with this time around.

Wiseman Zitha
Another friend that Mohale did not mind having rumours that he was dating is none other than Giyani actor Wiseman Zitha. The two friends for a few weeks following Mohale’s break up with Somizi did not correct the media when it was believed that they might be dating.

But it seems that Wiseman is all about work this Valentine’s Day as he revealed that he was spending the day of love on set.
As such, it is unclear as to who exactly Mohale will be spending Valentine’s Day with. But maybe in the future the now radio personality and influencers will eventually reveal who his new beau is when things get serious between them. This is in light of the post suggesting that the two are currently in the early stages of their relationship.
