Yesterday marked the 9th birthday of Mpho and Reneilwe Letsholonyane’s son. Taking to social media, the sports presenter penned a heartfelt message to her little boy.

“Today my Minion and Superhero who is obsessed with Lego and watching people gaming on YouTube turns 9️⃣ years old", she shared. "What a journey it has been… So many learnings. So much growth. Great conversations and lots of laughter."
Taking to Twitter also, Mpho didn’t only wish her son a happy birthday but also opened up about being told that she would never conceive at the age of 17 to suffering a miscarriage at the age of 28.
“Happy birthday TMan. Oh, happy day! Today my boy turns 9️⃣. Still can’t believe that I went from being told that I’d never be able to conceive at age 17 because endometriosis Broken heart, managing to conceive and then suffering a miscarriage at age 28 Broken heart to now celebrating 9 years of life with this young man," she tweeted.
She then slammed those people who often ask, when is she having another child. “Then people recklessly ask you when you’re having another child. Kwaaa. You got jokes!! You got NO clue how much pain it took for me to even get to this 1.”
Mpho also asked people to stop asking other people when are they having children as it’s a very sensitive topic. “This is why we ask that you don’t go around asking people when they’re having children, it’s not always a smooth journey.”
Mrs Letsholonyane then sent her love to those couple trying to have children. “Love to everyone who is trying to have a child. I hope your prayers will be answered some day Heart suit. Also sending love to all angel mommies and daddies.”
It wouldn’t be a complete birthday without a message from the dad wouldn’t it be? Former Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana player Reneilwe shared this special message to his son. “Guess who’s birthday it is today? Yep, T is turning 9 years old. Wishing him many more years to come and may God bless him with all his heart desires. May he grow older and be a Super Hero he is. Happy Birthday, T’niesta. Love you too much.”
