We are still shocked and are struggling to come to terms with the passing of local Kwaito star, Mshoza. The talented star is reported to be no more by several publications as well as some of her friends in the music and television industry.

Letoya Makhene observed that her kids probably didn't know their mother had passed away but the news was all over social.

Oh dear...this is when social media and this virtual world that we live in really breaks my heart... Her children don’t even know yet of their mom’s passing πŸ’”

Social media has been flooded with heartfelt messages and tributes to the fallen star. Mshoza was part and parcel of our entertainment industry for more than twenty years. She had influenced a lot of the stars we see today and also had many friends in the industry. Zalebs have taken to their social media to remember the Kortez hitmaker.

Television presenter and actor Zola Hashatsi thanked her friend for all the years.

"My heart is broken, Thank you for years of amazing friendship, laughter and fun times. Go Rest oh dear friend Nomasonto Mshoza Maswanganyi #RIPMshoza I can't."

Socialite Amstel is also in disbelief following her friends' passing.

Mshoza was currently working as a television host on Moja Love. Being one of the most influential and impactful female artists from the 90s, may her precious soul rest in peace. Our deepest condolences to her family, friends, and fans.
