The nation is still in disbelief following the untimely passing of 37-year-old Kwaito artist Mshoza. Tributes have been pouring in for the hitmaker through social media from her fans and friends in the music and television industry.
Mshoza had nothing to show in terms of accolades as far as awards go and sis was ready to call everybody out. She was looking for a Grammy this time around because she felt she's worth it.
Mshoza shared her observation on Twitter that she's never gotten any award in Mzansi despite her 20 years in the music business.
She explained that while accolades were not the main priority or inspiration behind her work, it still hurts her to think she's only ever been honoured by a stokvel in Soweto a lifetime ago.
Nonetheless, Mshoza still believes her time is coming and she's casting her net way wider than most.

The Kortes hitmaker explained that she was not in any way belittling the people who love her and support her.
But just as a side note, she has an acceptance speech that has been 20 years in the making.
Despite the random Grammy tweet, her fans stood by her positive projections for her music career.
Let us know if the self-proclaimed Queen of Kwaito, is deserving of a Grammy or should she even care about that when it should be all about the music and her fans.
