As the nation is still struggling to come to terms with the passing of one of its most-loved stars, Mshoza, there's been new information that's been reported about her passing. According to what is an official statement. shared by entertainment commentator Phil Mphela, the Kortez hitmaker passed away peacefully in the early hours of the morning.

"Mshoza' Maswanganyi. The Kortez hitmaker succumbed peacefully in the early hours of this morning. She was 37.

She will be deeply missed as an ultimate entertainer who loved being on stage. Not only did she radiate star quality,

Sunday World Journalist, Nokuthula Zwane tweeted that the star had been diagnosed with diabetes, according to a friend of Mshoza's.

"According to a close friend, she had been rushed to hospital a few weeks ago but was later ‘discharged. Details of the cause of death is still unclear. The 37-year-old, mother of two had been ill and diagnosed with diabetes. "

Moshoza was born in Protea North, Soweto. She attended her high school there before breaking out as a Kwaito artist. One of her popular hit songs is Kortez. It's still considered one of the best Kwaito songs by many to this day.
