Somizi has really been spoiling his bestie Vusi Nova lately. The Idols SA judge and Metro FM DJ, gifted him with a brand new statue and the singer took to his Instagram account to show off the beautiful piece, sending a special shout out to his best friend. “Thank you to the bestie for this statue. Thank you Mizzy. Said Vusi Nova in a video showing off the gift. “Look at how beautiful she is - she just fits.”
In the caption Vusi said that the gift is sexy. Thank you @somizi I love her! damn she’s sexy!what should I call her? also, “Wena” from my new album playing in the background.
Over the weekend, the two, affectionately known as SomNova, took off to the Kruger National Park and documented their luxurious getaway through social media. This didn’t sit well with fans of Mohale as they felt that he should’ve been there. He was at home in Qwa Qwa.
Earlier in the month, SomNova served serious bestie goals as they jetted off to Cape Town in style. While in the mother city, they shared some of the footage from their soft life while Mohale was nowhere in sight.
Somizi and Vusi Nova’s trips have sparked relationship rumours, however, Vusi has rubbished the claims. Chatting to Jon Savage on the What’s Your Poison? podcast, Nova revealed that he trusts SomG with his life and this is because of their 16-year-friendship.
“I have known Somizi for 16 years. I met him before I even got into the music industry. He’s so real and supportive. Somizi is one of those genuine people that believes that if you have a dream, no matter how big, you can work towards it and achieve it.”
In terms of Mohale, things are not entirely bad as his career is soaring to greater heights. He announced recently that he’s just moved into his new office to a warm reception from his fans. His celebrity friend Lasizwe also congratulated him on his latest win.
He is also involved in many influencer campaigns with big brands such as Red Bull, the Radisson Blue hotel, and Minnie Cooper.
He has also been spearheading the #BackToSchoolShoeDrive at Mthonjeni Primary School where school shoes were successfully donated to the Grade 1’s there.
