The South African Music Awards have come and gone, winners have been celebrated, and we're quite sure that the artists who attended the event had a mother-load of an after party last night.
Some of us who watched the show from the other side of the screen saw a lot of interesting highlights from the show.
Apart from all the red carpet looks, here are some of our favourite moments of the SAMAs.

Spikiri & Jakarumba looked lit!
Firstly, congratulations on the King Don Father Mandla Spikiri for walking away with the Kwaito album of the year, even though some people didn't realize he had an album out. His acceptance speech with close friend and former band member - Jakarumba was hilarious; the two men looked so tipsy, but hey, if you were nominated and won a SAMA, you'd probably also be this lit.
It's Honorable MEC for you.
MEC Virginia Tlhapi Galebekwe had the awkwardest of moments on stage presenting an award with Minister Nathi Mthethwa and media personality Nomathemba Madumo. It first started when she stated that she is the honourable Virginia Tlhapi Galebekwe then when they presented the awards, she just kept on disappearing behind the other two until Mr Mthethwa realised that she was disappearing in the background.

Sho Madjozi's win was well received.
Sho Madjozi walked away with the Newcomer of the year award and what a well-deserved win that was for her. She's been putting in the work and is a favourite amongst many, especially the youth. Congratulations to the captain of Limpopo.
Simmy, Mlindo, AKA and Sun El Musician go home with nothing.
This reality left a lot of their fans hurt, but then again, did their fans vote enough?
It was a music award show, but Lootlove was the biggest star on the red carpet.
Guys! Hip and Hop's mommy looked amazing, she had us all picking up our jaws from the floor in awe of her beauty. Is this really a woman who gave birth to twins not long ago? Wow!
