Although many dance to her music even without understanding the lyrics because it might not be their mother tongue, Sho Madjozi's genre is often debated.
The MTV Base Hottest MCs list - which so far has the biggest rappers in the country ranked from 10 to number 6 - had people all up in their feels. Seeing Sho's name in the Top 10 alone raised many eyebrows.
Everyone has an opinion on who might be the best in the country when it comes to Hip/Hop. Whichever rapper is better than the next is often a non-ending debate and when tweeps saw Sho Madjozi's name above K.O, Ricky Rick, Nadia Nakai and Shane Eagle, they saw red. The burning question amongst people is, "Is Sho Madjozi a rapper?"
