Sho Madjozi has started 2020 on a strong note after making one of BBC's hottest music lists in the UK.
After proving she could penetrate the international entertainment scene in 2019, it looks like Sho Madjozi will continue winning this year after she earned a spot on the UK radio station BBC 1Xtra's prestigious Hot for 2020 list.
The annual list features 15 artists from around the globe who are predicted to accomplish big things this year in their respective careers.
The John Cena hit-maker marked this as another feather in her cap and comes off the back of a game-changing 2019. Last year she was featured on the international Vogue World 100 list of people to watch in 2019, performed on Colours and even met her favourite wrestler, John Cena. Sis did not disappoint!
Letting her fans know of the good news, Sho announced that she is 'casually' sitting on the list of artists BBC predicts will do great things this year.
Last year, when she was interviewed by Billboard on how she felt about being mentioned in the same sentence as Black Coffee and Trevor Noah, Sho Madjozi explained
"It does a lot to people’s self-esteem, like, ‘Whoa, finally these people see us as equals’. It makes a lot of Africans proud and happy when they see you getting that recognition. It’s hard to tell people, ‘Be proud of yourself', if the rest of the world is like, 'But you ain’t sh*t'." she proclaimed.
