Its Woman crush Wednesday! So we picked a few of our favourite African Queens who are keeping us talking for all the right reasons.

South Africa

Ayanda Ncwane

Whilst some like to call her the late Sfiso Ncwane's widow, Ayanda does not want to let that title to define her. So many people have their own version of what the mogul in the making is all about, but she has something else up her sleeves. She recently got revealed as one of the cast members of Real Housewives Of Durban.

Botswana

Kagiso Sento

The fashionista has been making the headlines for the wrong reasons since the start of 2021. She and her husband Oridile 'Vee Mampeezy' Sento welcomed the new year whilst sinking their teeth at each other - well not literally- but the couple had gotten into a heated argument because Vee accused Kagiso of being a cheater. We admire her strength and courage of speaking out for the sake of her marriage.

Kenya

Nadia Mukami

We are loving this breakout star of 2020's energy as she is working her way on becoming a millionaire. “Financial Discipline Journey 2021!!! I have already saved sh.10,000 for my first Monday of this year!!!,” the 23-year-old singer wrote on Instagram, adding that she would like to have a million shillings in her account by the end of this year. We wish her the best of luck!

Namibia

Maria Nepembe

Maria Nepembe has decided to spoil herself with a couple of Louis Vuitton items to kick off 2020 in style. We love a focused Queen! We still want to know if she is dating rapper KP Illest though.

Tanzania

Tanasha Donna

Need we say more? Tanasha is setting all the tongues wagging with her success. Recently, she has been the talk of the town with her song Kalypso which has been trending in the top 20 videos on Tanzanian YouTube. You Go Girl!

Uganda

Zari Hassan

One of the most successful young women in Uganda Zari is probably any mans everyday crush. She shared a few words of wisdom this week for people who want to be successful like her:  “It's never easy, friend. Until you are ready and willing to get comfortable with being uncomfortable, you won't change your life very much.”

Zimbabwe

Allanah

Known for her hit song Fadza Mutengi, Allanah is our crush this Wednesday because of her ambition to be bigger than she could ever be. Before being the star she is now, Allanah used to buy and sell goods although the business was not as worthwhile and she ended up living in poverty. We stan a focused queen.
