Eish, it's always funny when bands and artists outside of hip hop also show that they're capable of having beef. This week it's The Script, - who are made up of Danny O'Donoghue, Mark Sheehan and Glen Power. The band has hit out at pop stars for recording songs without "meaning.: The trio think the world will be worse off if people are still playing songs like Pitbull's Have Some Fun in the future.
Danny said: "There's a lot of meaning lost from pop songs. And it's unfortunate because music it's the perfect vehicle for emotion.
"We just hope songs with substance will stand the test of time. We'd like to think that people won't be listening to Pitbull in 20 years time.
"If they are then what a f***ing world that's going to be."
Danny would love to pen a song that could cure all the problems in the world and while he admits it is probably an impossible dream, he will not stop trying.
He added to Gay Times magazine: "I really feel music can change people, I really feel it can heal. What I'm looking for is the f***ing song that can change something.
"Can a song change the world's problems? Can a world stop what's going on in Russia? Probably not. But will it stop me trying to write it? Absolutely not."
