"We have to sadly postpone Anele Ngcongca Funeral as uMama is not well. She expressed that the funeral cannot continue without her. We made the decision that her health is important as a family and postponed the funeral."

The funeral has been postponed to the 10th of December 2020. The service will take place at the Gugulethu Stadium and will be streamed live on social media.

Siyasanga slammed Minister Nathi Mthethwa for being silent about Anele's passing despite the great contribution that he's made to South African football. She revealed that Minister Fikile is the only Minister who made contact with the family and came to check on Anele's mother.

"This man played for the World Cup Bafana Bafana with 50 Caps. But there’s silence.  @MbalulaFikile is the only Minister that came to meet the family."
