Black Coffee Charges A Whopping R1M To Play At Weddings

Black Coffee’s name in the music industry carries so much weight locally and internationally. It is no surprise that the always in demand DJ does not come cheap when booked to play at wedding gigs.

Somizi revealed Black Coffee’s exorbitant fee that he charges for his sets at weddings, and revealed how much they could not afford him for their white wedding.

To everyone’s surprise, The DJ surprised Somhale at their wedding by performing a special set for the happy couple. An attendee told ZAlebs that the moment Black Coffee turned up behind the decks people lost their minds.

He added that it was a special moment as Somizi was also brought to tears.

On his four-part wedding special, he spoke about Coffee’s surprise adding that it was the best one yet.

“Then Black Coffee happened…best surprise ever. To get Black Coffee is a dream come true for us. We love him. He was part of our dream list, but hey, $100k… we don’t have it,” he said.
