Popular South African Netflix series, Blood and Water season 3 premiere date has finally been announced by the streaming platform. Viewers of the show have been waiting for the new season, following the finale of season 2 which left many knocked off their seats with an action packed cliff hanger!

As if the trailer for season 3 wasn’t jaw dropping enough, Netflix dropped another teaser of Blood and Water’s upcoming season on Instagram. This was done through a series of still images from the highly anticipated new season.

Now that the news is out, one question many viewers have is if actress, Natasha Thahane would return to season 3 because of her pregnancy announcement. Harsh criticism from controversial South African Youtuber, Slik Talk added fuel to the fire. 

The YouTuber said:

“How are you going to justify to Blood and Water to play a teenager when you have a whole baby, you think it’s going to let you play an 18 year old when you have a baby. That’s not gonna happen. Natasha we all know that as a female actor when you have a baby in your 20s it’s probably one of the biggest mistakes you ever made in your life. Having a baby in your 20s it’s a mistake because it removes you from so many roles. You can’t play a teenager and a college girl anymore.”

Natasha has cleared up any uncertainty surrounding her role in Blood and Water. She will be returning to the show as confirmed by an Instagram post where she shares a gift received by the team as part of an appreciation message.
