You can vote for Boity to take any one of the five - or even all - awards under these categories: Most Valuable Player/ Hustler of the year, Best Mix tape of the year for her album 4436, Best female rapper, Freshman of the year and Best Remix of the year for 018’s Finest Remix ft 25k, William Last KRM, Towdee Mac and Venom.
Boity is on a roll as she also asks for her fans to vote for her as she is nominated at this year's E! People’s Choice Award for African Social Star of 2021.
Roxy Burger announced the nominees in the category and Boity is competing with 9 other Africans doing big things on a social scale. These include South African stars Lasizwe Dambuza, Mihlali Ndamase and TikTok star Witney Ramabulana.
Other African stars up for this award are, Azziad Nasenya - a TikTok star from Kenya, Falz - an actor and rapper from Nigeria, also from Nigeria is The Odditty, real name Sofiyat Ibrahim and is an advocate for self-empowerment. Lastly Madam Boss - a Zimbabwean comedian.
A highly grateful Boity said this is rewarding and added that her biggest social media engagement is when she posts her bestie Anton Jaftha, “this is beyond incredible and is a reward for the people who have supported me and have had my back...I don’t post anything from my personal life and people want to know, but he’s (Anton) just a best friend,” she clarified.
It's refreshing to see Boity catch all these W's despite having been humiliated by Bujy during their altercation at an event. She assured her fans that she is fine and showed gratitude, "Thank you to everyone that has sent me love, support and kept me in their prayers. It means the absolute world to me. I'm doing really well and feeling better than ever."
When she acknowledged the incident, Boity said she has been a victim of gender based violence at the hands of the socialite. "It is with deep sadness to state that I was indeed an unfortunate victim of a vicious physical assault and I have since opened a case against the culprit., which I am following with keen interest. I do not wish to comment on the matter any further (at this time). I respectfully request some space as I try to find a way to heal both physically and emotionally from this traumatic experience," she wrote in a statement.
Meanwhile, her alleged attacker is fighting for GBV as he will part take in a march aimed at raising awareness.
