TV and Radio personality Bujy Bikwa took to Instagram to share that he misses his Queer Way Of Life Team on Podcast And Chill Network's YouTube channel.
Taking to his Instagram today, the TV personality wrote, "Happy pride month, and may all the celebrations and festivities go well this weekend. Keep safe and remember you are worth all the love in the world. You matter and you exist. #lgbtqiapride #Jhbpride2021 Missing the team already #TheQueerWayOfLifeWithBujy on YouTube"
He revealed in one of his previous statements on the assault allegations that he has decided to put Queer Way Of Life With Bujy on hold until further notice.
Bujy was accused of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) after he allegedly assaulted Rapper and TV personality Boity Thulo at the Courtyard Hotel in Midrand.
Boity released a statement confirming the incident saying, "It is with deep sadness to state that I was indeed an unfortunate victim of a vicious physical assault and I have since opened a case against the culprit., which I am following with a keen interest. I do not wish to comment on the matter any further (at this time)," read her statement.
A couple of days later Bujy also issued a statement telling his side of the story. He said was also physically assaulted and he has opened the case of common assault against Boity.
"...Being kicked and punched while being told that "I am a man, I am a man," I must take it. The pain of suffering of having to let a woman abuse me verbally and physically while trying to contain myself and holding her hands to stop was not enough until witnesses managed to defuse the situation. That did not make matters subtle, as it was continued that I was insulted.
"....and after being in pain from the injuries I sustained for 7 days, being held in police custody, I have received medical attention and have filled my medical records towards my counter case," he said.
Bujy released another statement apologizing for his behavior. "I would like to apologize to everyone for my reaction to the situation. I regret that it happened and also accept the occurrence as unacceptable behavior, and I could have handled the situation differently and not have it escalate to the levels it has from either myself or the said complainant and I do not condone any acts of violence by any person including myself."
The legal battle between him and Boity is still underway and the rapper is reportedly demanding R1 million from Bujy. Read More: More On Boity And Bujy's Legal Battle
