Multi-award winning rapper Cassper Nyovest is hard at work gearing up for the highly anticipated boxing match with Naakmusiq.
However, Mihlali Ndamase's fans want her to take on Cassper. Mihlali recently posted an Instagram story in which she can be seen doing boxing workouts with her personal trainer at home.
One of her fans commented on the story and said she was ready to take on Cassper Nyovest. Mihlali went on to tag Cassper who said he would rather focus on his match with Naakmusiq because he is scared of Mihlali.
"Hahaha no please. Y'all want Mihlali to kill me. I'd rather take my chances with Naakmusiq" he wrote.
Cassper recently defeated controversial podcaster Slik Talk in a boxing match that took place in December. After the boxing match, he was challenged by actor and musician Naakmusiq.
When asked who he would still like to face, Cassper listed AKA, Prince Kaybee and Naakmusiq. Naakmusiq stepped into the ring and said Cassper should have mentioned his name first.
“I think that out of the top three he mentioned, he should not have listed me last. He should have started with me," he said. He also dragged Cassper's boxing skills, saying “Everyone that taught Cassper how to box is going to have to teach him a little more.”
The highly anticipated Celebrity Boxing Exhibition between Cassper and Naakmusiq is set to take place on April 9 at the Sun City Superbowl. Cassper is confident that he knock Naakmusiq out.
He recently mentioned that he hadn't started training because he was ill, but that he would resume training soon. "Naak isn't scary. He is just built. He is a body builder, not a boxer. I'm going to naak him out! I'm going to enjoy breaking him down and then out him on the canvas! I'm so happy everyone thinks I will lose. It gives more drive"
This week was also challenged by actor Patrick Shai, but the fight would not be happening by the look of things. This is after the actor insuted Cassper's mom.
“Before I die I want to make sure that I've beat you so that on my tombstone they can write this is the man who beat Caster or Costa or whatever your sh*t name is ... Come you son of a b*tch,” Patrick said.
He later issued a statement via a video apologizing to the rapper and his family. “I should have known better as an adult. My apologies, I humbly, from the bottom of my heart, apologise for having used such strong language towards your mom. Even though the challenge would've been an ideal thing but now it has been soured by what I said.
“I apologise from the bottom of my heart, please forgive me and forgive me South Africans. I am regretting every bit of the last sentence. That I used, I'm sorry.” he said
