Cassper Set To Drop Documentary-Series #AMNSessions

South African musician, Cassper Nyovest, is all set to drop his highly anticipated album, Any Minute Now on Friday, 11 September 2020. In preparation for his big release, Cass has documented its progress throughout and has shared insight into its collaborations and tracks which are expected to feature on the album. As if his personal timeline has not been enough, the rapper has surprised fans with the fact that he has been literally documenting the making of AMN the entire time. 

In a tweet shared on Friday, 4 September 2020, a week ahead of the album’s release, Cassper stated, “The making of #AMN was documented and I was initially gonna drop one long documentary but Jabu got soo much dope shit that I didn't wanna cut out so we will be making it out into a series called #AmnSessions.” He went on to ask fans if they were interested in watching the doccie, and revealed that the first episode will drop on YouTube on Monday, 7 September 2020. 

Many of his fans immediately shared their excitement at the upcoming release, claiming that they are interested in seeing the behind the scenes action of what is expected to be album of the year. One fan stated, “Mos def. We definitely wanna see the behind the scenes on how y’all do the magic”, whilst another agreed with, “Casper has this marketing/PR thing on lock. Keep evolving king and teaching the game on how to sell or place a product into the market.” 

On Thursday, 27 August 2020, Cassper dropped the track list for Any Minute Now, amping-up his fans for the long list of collabs which are featured. The upcoming album sees verses from Zola 7, Samthing Soweto, Busiswa and Nadia Nakai to name a few. #ANMSessions is expected to showcase the hours of studio time that went into the project, as well as the immense amount of fun her had with the fellow musicians.
