Sexiest Man of the Year 2017

Earlier this month, we invited YOU, the ZAlebs reader to vote in the first ever ZAlebs awards and now that voting is closed, we’re revealing which ZAlebs came out tops in each category according to you.

While the year 2016 gained notoriety for being one of the worst years in existence, 2017 had enough ups and downs to keep everyone happy.

Avid readers of ZAlebs know just how much we love beautiful people - whether they are male, female or trans - we celebrate sexiness no matter what package it comes in. Our large female audience just means that men get more of the attention. Here are just some of the men who got the most attention from ZAlebs readers this year:

Siphesihle Vazi

The yummy youngin’ from Newcastle in KwaZulu Natal currently hosts the SABC 1 variety show Selimathunzi alongside Khanya Mkangisa and is the object of affection for many a South African woman (and the occasional gay man).

Cassper Nyovest

Even if he may not be crowned the sexiest man by the readers, Nyovest deserves the best transformation award after keeping up the weightloss journey he has been on in recent years and taking things up a notch.

Not only did he lose weight, he grew a beard, toned up his muscles and stepped up his style as party of his dzaddy metamorphosis.

Cedric Fourie

Fourie has been a hit with the ladies from the get-go and based on his Instagram posts, he knows this as he follows the Bonang Matheba mantra “bafe! Give the people what they want”

Zweli Dube  

In all honesty, Dube was okay-looking when he first assumed the role of hotshot attorney and best friend to James Motsamai, Pule Mapetla on the SABC 2 soapie, Muvhango but it wasn’t until he started showing us what is hidden under those suits he is forced to wear that we understood just what a snack her was.

But it seems Abuti Fill Up’s transformation under the tutelage of Anele Mdemka (better known as Apex Aesthetica) paid of as the ZAlebs followers crowned him sexiest man 2017.
