When David dressed Florence Kasumba

From fashion weeks to collaborations, David Tlale has mastered the perfection of true, classy and expensive fashion. All this can be seen in his designs that have been all over the world to the point where he was honoured to have dressed Lion King actress, Florence Kasumba who starred in the remake of the 1994 classical.

David beamed with excitement when he spoke about dressing the Ugandan Disney star for the second time. “Florence is such an amazing star and I am honoured that she requested me again. I wanted to give her a look that is different but classic and timeless and stands out on the celebrity Disney carpet. The look speaks of Africa that is global, elegant and true to itself,” shared the designer.

David Tlale reinvents the colour red at the Vodacom Durban July

From abandoning his love for the colour black for the first time in his career  David turned the runway red to unveil a special, once-off collection based on the colour red, titled 'RED by David Tlale', at the Vodacom Durban July.

“We are hard-wired to red. There is no other colour that is so fundamental; so fused to our primal, human itch that it stops us in our tracks. I couldn’t think of a better colour for the individual who expects more,” said Tlale in a statement.
