Award-winning DJ Maphorisa gave his fans a sneak peek inside his rehearsals as he prepares for Madumane's big day.
The versatile artist is set to perform tomorrow on Friday 29, at Madumane's first Live Session happening at Zone 6 Venue in Soweto.

"I'm about to make History with Amapiano Movement," he wrote on Instagram.

He shared a video of him and his band preparing for tomorrow and fans have since taken to the comments section to react. Bongz wrote, "King you're so committed to your craft, I wish you nothing but success nezibusiso."
The DJ performed for the first time as Madumane a few days ago In Dubai. Taking to Facebook, he wrote: "Madumane ke star. First time performing as Madumane and it is in Dubai and I'm getting serious money.”

Soon after his Dubai performance, Maphorisa received a lot of criticism after his video of him throwing money at the crowd during his set went viral. Watch the video below.
Maphorisa was dragged again earlier this year after he dropped his hit song Izolo. He was accused of using ghostwriter for Madumane's verse on the song.

It was alleged that Reason or the late Mpura could be the ones behind the verse. Mpura and Maphorisa worked together on several hits including S'funa Igospel and Ngwana Mani before Mpura's fatal accident.

He died together with Amapiano star Killer Kau. The statement shared by Killer Kau's record label revealed that they were on their way to a gig when the accident happened. The statement read: "On Monday the 9th of August 2021, the families of the deceased received a call from Marikana Police Station about a fatal accident that had taken place on Marikana road (N4 Northwest). It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of 3 members affiliated with the record label, SMEA, an inspiring record label from Soweto. The trio was traveling to a gig in Rustenburg with other artists in the car.

Involved in this fatality were hitmaker and Amapiano co-pioneer Killer Kau. Thando Tot was his DJ, TD who was SMEA's official road manager, Mpura Mpura Artist, The Voice (Mpura’s DJ), and 1 other female. We ask that you allow the families of the late youngsters to be given space to grieve their loss whilst we try to make funeral arrangements. More details pertaining to their funerals will be issued soon. We thank you all for the support."
