Mo Flava, YFM presenter and club DJ, set out to discover fresh talent with his search.
The last two standing were DJ Thabi Thabs and DJ Mandy, but it was Thabi Thabs who took home the title.
SunBuzz caught up with the winner.
“I feel so excited being voted as the best DJ!" She said.
“This is the opportunity I have dreamt about for as long as I can remember."
“I feel like the doors are now open and this is only the beginning.” She added.
Thabi walked away with a prize of R10 000. She said she plans to invest her winnings in buying DJ equipment.
“This will help me when doing gigs for people and that will make more money.” She said.
