Celebrity babies are already famous before they can tie their own shoe laces.

Everything is filmed for social media, from the inventive announcements celebs use to let followers know of the baby's coming to their baby showers, the first photo of the young one, and then viewing the newborns luxurious lives.

And it's at these moments that you realize how unique they are.

Take a look at the fascinating lives of some of Mzansi's celebrity newborns.

Bontle Modiselle and Priddy Ugly


Modiselle married Priddy Ugly, a rapper she met in 2009. They announced they're expecting their first child on August 19, 2019, via social media pictures revealing Modiselle's baby bump. This news was accompanied by a music video titled 'Bonita,' which translates to 'beautiful' in Portuguese.

Bontle and Priddy Ugly's baby girl's name is Afrika Bonita Lerato Moloi.

Priddy Ugly also posted a sweet photo of himself cuddling his princess with the remark, "Thank you, Heavens, for being the ONE they chose out of billions. Thank you so much, @bontle.modiselle - she's AMAZING!"

Brenden and Mpoomy Ledwaba


Brenden and Mpoomy Ledwaba's little miracle has brought them all the joy they needed. The married couple announced on Instagram that their newborn girl, Baby Nuri (our light) Lethabo (joy), was born on December 3, 2018.

Their baby daughter is now an adult, and she is truly a princess.

Nuri has a younger brother who was born in 2020, His name is Zani Lehumo Ledwaba

Nuri will have a brother or sister soon enough. Mpoomy and Brenden Ledwaba, a power couple, have revealed that they are expecting another precious addition to their family!


Ntando and Khaya Mthethwa 


Miss South Africa 2016 and the winner of season eight of Idols SA dated for only a few weeks before marrying in 2017.

They revealed on their Instagram pages a year later that they were expecting their own bundle of joy.

Oyinkosi Mthethwa was one of the first celebrity babies born in South Africa in 2019.

In his ultra-expensive stroller, the tiny guy is already moving around in style.


Rachel and Siya Kolisi


The first rugby couple may have married in 2016, but they've been parents much before that.

Siya legally adopted his two younger siblings, Liyema and Liphelo, in 2014. They moved around in foster care when their mother died, and Siya swore to look after them when he found them.

Rachel and Siya welcomed their first child, a son named Nicholas, in 2015. When Keziah was born in 2017, they had grown to a family of six.


Rachel frequently shares glimpses into their hectic lives and describes herself as the severe parent, whilst Siya's parenting approach is more relaxed.

Kairo Forbes, who was born in 2015, is the most hardworking celebrity baby in South Africa.

She promotes Naartjie and Earthchild's children's apparel lines and has appeared on the covers of two magazines.

Her Glammy (which means glamorous grandma) manages her Instagram account, which has over 942 000 followers. 

Kairo owns a Louis Vuitton bag, enjoys island vacations with her parents, and stunned fans when she displayed her Dolce & Gabbana coloring pencils at such a young age.

Nandi Madida and Zakes Bantwini 


When it comes to celebrity Baby names, it doesn’t get cooler or more powerful than the adorable children of Nandi and Zakes.

Their son is King Shaka and their daughter born in 2019 is Queen Nefertiti Nomthandazo Thandeka.

With her spouse Mayihlome, the former Miss South Africa Teen, radio personality, and TV presenter welcomed a baby boy in 2016.

Mayihlome's late father, politician Steve Vukile Tshwete, inspired them to name their son after him.

Vukile Maqoma Ragnar Tswete is the name of the lovely infant boy.

We can observe how Vukile spends his time thanks to social media, from playing with the family dog to taking swim lessons and spending quality time with his parents.


Denise Zimba


When she announced her pregnancy, the TV personality surprised her followers.
