Podcast And Chill despite the negative reception it continuously receives, has changed some lives. Arguably, the podcast has been hailed as one of the best and numbers do not lie. The hosts have given guests the platform to either vent out their difficulties and has helped them receive help.

Dr. Malinga was the last guest on last week's edition of Podcast And Chill. He spoke about his difficulties with South African Revenue Services (SARS) and how his home was left empty because he owes the taxman.

Legions of his fans were left heartbroken and some reached out to donate whatever money they have.

It was refreshing to see the various celebrities also doing the best they can to assist Dr. Malinga. Some with money and some with bookings so he can make his own money. Kabza De Small featured him on a track that would hopefully garner him some money.
"I would like Dr. Malinga to come perform at my one woman show . I sent a DM for sure he didn’t see it. I really want to support him from bottom of my heart. Anyone with management contact please DM me," Wrote Makhadzi.
Malinga thanked the Podcast And Chill family for allowing him the platform. "Podcast and Chill with MacG, Sol Phenduka and Chillers you showed me too much guys. You restored my dignity, God bless thanks bye," wrote the singer.
Sol Phenduka also shared a few words about the events which unfolded for Malinga. Saying had they been canceled like how other people wished they did, this would have never happened for Malinga.

“Imagine if the podcast had been successfully canceled. Imagine! Zola’s Story wouldn’t have been told. Dr Malinga wouldn’t be getting help. Lives wouldn’t have been changed. The entire podcast and chill team. Lives are changed. So many chillers out there. Lives changed and saved," wrote Sol.
Malinga fought back tears when he spoke about his hardships with SARS and how he reached out to people but they all shunned him.

"After two years, SARS came. I called Minister Nathi Mthethwa, we talked. Sometimes when I am hungry don't advise that you have to plough, just dish out for me. I am not bath mouthing him, I am talking about what happened. I was calling people that I worked with, but they didn't come to my rescue," he said. "They took everything. When you enter my house, if you don't have a heart, you will laugh. My house is empty," he said.

Dr. Malinga revealed that in total he owes SARS R500 000.

"Auction is painful. I was there, I went there, and then I wanted to say 'please is not like I don't want to pay, I don't have money. I am not trending. I don't have songs. I am not being called at gigs and I can't force people to book me," he said.

"Every time I give people, they don't come for me" He continued "Musa Khawula announced that everything had been taken from me, I was fine about that before because they took them in July and I thought I could recover whatever was due to SARS but I couldn't because money is not coming in," he added.
