One of Durban's biggest events has decided to continue with it's festivities by having the games enjoyed virtually on their YouTube channel and bet365, but people are not impressed with the price.
Usually the Durban July takes place on the first weekend of July, however due to the lockdown it has been moved to July 25.
The VIP ticket price put people in a frenzy which lead to many questioning the objective of the event. The ticket goes for an exorbitant price of R1900 and the package includes access to the virtual lounge for two people to enjoy hot meals delivered at their door, and alcohol.
Some of the signature programs such as the three month fashion programme has been affected however designers will still get the opportunity to showcase their designs online.
