It's official, Faith ‘Queen Twerk’ Nketsi has added yet another title to her growing list of hustles. That's right, Faith Nketsi is now a rapper! Boom!
The influencer and entrepreneur took to social media to announce that she would be dropping her debut Hip Hop EP titled ‘Disrepectful’.
Friday, 08 November 2019 (yesterday, basically), the Queen of all twerkers officially dropped her highly-anticipated extended play!
Faith started teasing fans with a possible rap career on the first episode of her MTV Africa reality show Have Faith when she was in studio with DJ Maphorisa at his home studio.
The EP features 7 tracks with trap-inspired beats to which Nketsi raps about her hustle and being an all-round baddie.
The EP is released through DJ Maphorisa’s label, Blaqboy Music, which is currently in partnership with label giant, Sony Music SA.
Listeners have expressed mixed reviews of the EP on social media. Most seem
unimpressed with the release. Some listeners took to twitter to throw some hectic shade, here are some of the reactions from social media:
“Faith’s EP sounds like voice notes,” commented one listener.
“The sound of that male anatomy member hitting Faith Nketsi’s face on that soft porn she posted has a better chance of toping the charts than her EP,” tweeted another listener.
This listener just wanted to find the 'undo' button.
“Faith's EP songs sound like what those ringtones in kids toy cellphones would sound like if they were to be hip-hop and vulgar,” expressed one other listener.
Although some peeps were evidently unimpressed, Faith did manage to score some supporters of her new hustle.
Have a listen below and you can decide: was the EP
a hot drop, or a big flop?
