Multi-award-winning SA songstress Kelly Khumalo, is proving that no coronavirus formed against her hustle shall prosper.
The songstress who released her much-anticipated brand new single tagged, Empini on Friday, is known for her golden voice, and always blessing SA with great music.
The single has been receiving a warm response countrywide since it was released, and we are already here for it! ZAlebs recently caught up with her to speak about her single and her upcoming projects.
Kelly said Empini was written and produced by popular and talented music producer Mondli Ngcobo, and it speaks about conquering in love.
"It talks about the love that conquers everything that is men challenging, The song says we will die fighting," she said.
Kelly who recently broke up with her ex-bae Chad da Don said, she still believes in love and she won't stop.
"I'm a sucker for love, I love love, the chorus of the song reflects on who I am in terms of love, I will die in love, so we will keep trying until we get it right" she added.
The musician recently sent shockwaves to many when she posted that she has been summoned to ask people to pray, speaking about her mental state she said she is in a good space.
"I am actually in a very good space personally and I think I've learned that as much as what is happening in the world is very depressing, with black people being killed women being killed, racism and we are faced with Covid-19, I am at a place where I'm at peace with myself despite what is happening in the world," she said.
The songstress recently revealed she was working on her own reality show titled Life with Kelly, which was halted by the coronavirus. Speaking about the latest developments in filming the show she said.
