Thando Thabethe’s reality show premiere date announced
Taking to her Instagram recently, Thando shared the first extended trailer for her upcoming reality show. The trailer seemed to tease what the premise of the show will be about. As such, we can expect Thando to share how she juggles being an actress, radio personality, sister, friend and the CEO of Thabootys.
Moreover, the trailer ended with the confirmation that the reality show is set to arrive on BET, DSTV channel 129 on Saturday, 15 April 2023 at 19:30.
As the official countdown to the premiere episode of the reality show has commenced, the official extended trailer for the show has been released and it features an unexpected cameo.
Kelly Rowland appears on Thando Thabethe’s reality show
On Monday, 3 April 2023, Thando Thabethe hosted the official launch party for her upcoming reality show in Sandton. Considering that the launch was hosted during the day, it was not as star-studded as expected considering the A-listers of friends that the media personality has.
However, it did have friends and family who are also a part of the show. This included Thando’s mother and her business partner and best friend who will be part of the show.

In light of the launch party, BET Africa shared the official extended trailer for the reality show which teased what viewers can expect. First, it clarified that Thando was single after the continuous speculation as to whether she is still dating Lunga Shabalala.
Moreover, the trailer did reveal that it will focus heavily on Thando as a friend. A fact which seems that she is struggling to deal with as she continues to strive to see her career and dreams of success flourish.
However, a detail that fans and followers of the media darling were surprised to see was the inclusion of her friendship with Destiny’s Child alumni Kelly Rowland. Their friendship was struck when Kelly first came to South Africa after being announced as the face of Brutal Fruit.
Thereafter, Thando got to enjoy the fruits of having Kelly Rowland as a close friend as she landed the exclusive invite to Beyonce’s performance in Dubai. As such, Thando got to rub shoulders with not only Kelly and Beyonce but with Jay-Z and Tina Knowles and the rest of the Destiny’s Child clan.
