As an emerging creative, Lasizwe faced the wrath on social media and had to grow in a space of letting go of negativity, thereafter he started thriving.

Known professionally as Lasizwe, he is a South African television and social media personality, radio host, comedian, actor and YouTuber. He was born and raised in Soweto, South Africa.

Lasizwe may face a lot of challenges, but he is very popular when it comes to social media. He is especially loved for his unique and extremely hilarious YouTube videos that interpret South Africans daily lives.

Lasizwe Dambuza Age

Thulasizwe Siphiwe Dambuza was born on the 19th of July in 1998. He is 21 years old

Lasizwe was raised by both his parents. His mother was a nurse at Lesedi Private Hospital and his father is Menzi Mcunu.

Lasizwe is related to Khanyi Mbau who is his half-sister and his other sister is Zonke Nkabinde. 

Growing up, Lasizwe noticed there was something different about him, that he was uncomfortable around boys, but could relate to any of his feminine counterparts. At the age of 15, he finally realised his sexuality and embraced it.

Sadly, he lost his mother in 2016 when Lasizwe was only 18 at the time.

Starting his formal studies, he attended Meredale Primary, a mixed-race primary school in Meredale, south of Johannesburg and he advanced his studies at Mondeor High School located in Mondeor.

Lasizwe started his career through vines and vlogs by mimicking how South Africans act on social media.

Through his regular consistent skits, Lasizwe became noticed and as people loved his videos, he became popular as a YouTuber.  He would share on his channel different types of imitations and distribute videos on a daily basis.

He started participating in different kinds of challenges on the internet, which led to his fan base rapidly increasing. 

Lasizwe promised to keep entertaining people through his videos, "I can't say much right now, but stayed tuned because something big is about to happen," he said. He kept on having different videos in a week to ensure that his fans were kept curious and return to his page for more of his skits.

Lasizwe eventually earned the influencer status and was starting being invited to represent brands. After having worked as an influencer, Lasizwe scored himself a huge role as a marketing director, for Fanta Orange.

Finding his feet in the game, Lasizwe was featured in Babes Wodumo and Ntando Duma's music video for the song "Jiva Phez'kombhede which was released December 2017. 

As he was growing in the industry, Laswize made appearances on MTV Base Africa's You Got Got (2017) as one of the main presenters, and has presented on SABC 3's The Scoop Africa (2018) and SABC 1's The Real Goboza (2018). As he worked hard to conclude the year, Lasizwe scored yet another gig of hosting a reality show with MTV, Fake It Until You Make It.

Lasizwe had a good year in 2018 as a creative. He landed a role in hosting's youth show Craz-e World Live as well as VOOV TV's new show VOOVScoop

He was blessed with an opportunity of becoming an ambassador for Fanta and occupied the Teen Marketing Director role. 

Concluding his year, Lasizwe scored two more deals and became an official ambassador for Games Stores and had a collaboration with Audi.

In 2018, as Lasizwe was rising to fame, he faced the hottest battles on Twitter with different celebrities.

Lasizwe VS Jackie Phamotse 

Being the social media sensation that he is, Lasizwe took to the timeline to address the allegations leveled against him on the Hockey Club scandal that Jackie Phamotse was investigating. In addition to this he also told the story of how he met his boyfriend that he nicknamed 'Steve'.

According to Lasizwe, they met at a popular Bryanston hot-spot where they exchanged numbers, got to know each other and went bowling for their first date a few days later. He then went on to state that "Steve" asked him to be his boyfriend on that date. 

The story then takes a number of twists and turns and covers topics such as expensive dinners, borrowing money, paying rent and so forth.  

Lasizwe VS Pearl Thusi

In the back and forth, Pearl Thusi also said she wished "kids" that felt they could speak in any manner to their elders on social media, would dare say it in person.

The former Quantico actress felt that the idea that "American validation is the only thing that makes us greater" is what's holding creatives back in the country.

Lasizwe explained his tweet to Pearl, but he eventually gave in and told Pearl that they are in the same realm and level. Pearl didn't think so, - the actress told Lasizwe that they are on different figures when it comes to their pay. 

Lasizwe VS Jay Versace

Lasizwe found himself in a Twitter war with the American Vine star, Jay Versace. The American native is known for his funny videos and was considered to be the internet's funniest teenager.

Jay confronted him for stealing his content, but Lasizwe denied all of the allegations that the Vine star was making against him.

Lasizwe VS Buying a house 

In 2018, Lasizwe tweeted that he purchased property in Sandton. He was celebrated for his milestone as he is still a young and upcoming social media influencer. 

However, his sister was not happy when she saw the news all over social media She came forth to expose his lie, during an interview with Drum. 

Mbau stated “I‘m very upset at him for doing that; he lied – the apartment is a rental. He told Fresh that he bought it and he went onto the breakfast show to speak about it and it’s not true.”

According to his sister, Lasizwe believes in social media affirmation and it wasn't his first time pulling such a stunt.

She added, "it’s not the first time he has pulled a stunt as this and we have warned him, but he will learn and eventually grow to know that you can’t lie about something like this.”

Lasizwe has a net worth of R1.3 Million. After an impressive entrance in the industry, he saw himself cementing different types of deals which led him into his millionaire status. 

He grew a tough skin because of the industry, and he continues to bless his fans with content that is shared on his YouTube channel and social media accounts.
