Being an Influencer is slowly considered as a lucrative full-time job in South Africa. While may argue, but we have seen a tremendous rise of Influencers including the likes of Beauty and Video extraordinaire Mihlali Ndamase, who has managed to make her mark in the industry.
Mihlali has been ranked the 17th highest paid make up artist in the world. She has bagged international and local campaign deals and has had the pleasure of jet-setting around the world for work purposes.
In recent years Influencers have totally shaken up the social media landscape. They are social media users who have established credibility in specific industries. They utilize their platforms for marketing purposes and get compensated to just to create content and post it.
The only trick about being an Influencer is getting campaigns which often causes a headache to influencers, but recently a lot of influencers marketing apps have been created to help recruit influencers based on their niche.
But also being an Influencer requires a lot of effort and commitment. You need to be able to affect change positively using your authority, and actively engage with your followers and support structure.

She recently reached a major milestone when her Instagram account was verified with more than 700 000 followers. Kairo has arguably become South Africa’s top Influencer for Kids. She has collaborated with her mother, Dj Zinhle’s band Zinhle Era to make her own watch.
We absolutely love her content and videos. This year Kairo graced our screens on Dj’Zinhles music videos Umlilo and we hope to see her more on Tv in 2020.

The Lazy Makoti real name Mogau Seshoshoene is one of South Africa’s best foodies in the culinary world. The chef has a cookbook which offers cooking classes and dining experiences.
The Lazy Makoti has over 100 000 followers on Instagram and Mzansi love her impeccable cooking recipes and content. Without no doubt she will break the celebrity chef status in 2020.
Valdo
Valdo Sithole is one of our favourite instababies. He has partned with renowned brands such as Cotton On Kids, Milo, Milky Lane and Woolworths.
The adorable insta baby has over 200 000 followers. He is also known for his hilarious Instagram videos with his father Lin Dough. The child star is already owning the celebrity status. How adorable would it be to take pictures with him. We look forward to more in 2020.
