We must admit that it came as a pleasant surprise when South Africa's self proclaimed diamond, Minnie Dlamini-Jones, shared an image aimed at honouring her maternal Indian heritage. Minnie's photo shoot was Afro-Asian themed of which the media personality tied it in with the diversity that melts out from South Africa's rich culture and history.

Though taken aback by Minnie's history revelation, we must say that opening that heritage window is refreshing and inspires the rest of us to learn more about ourselves.
