One of the first local acts to have garnered local acclaim for achieving international acclaim through the Got Talent variety talent competition is the youth choral group Ndlovu Youth Choir.

However, the group garnered their support through the US version of the show called American’s Got Talent. Their success and acclaim were so pivotal to the success of the show, that they had marked their return during its latest season.
With the new season of America’s Got Talent: All Stars, Ndlovu Youth Choir was the choir to recently confirm their return to the show. The premise of the All-Stars version of the competition is shared as:“With more than 70 local versions of Got Talent produced across Europe, Asia- Pacific, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas, AGT: All-Stars brings together 60 of the most beloved and memorable contestants from across the globe for one of the toughest competitions.”AGT stage. This time Simon Cowell touted the choir as the best choir to have ever been on the AGT stage. Moreover, instead of opting to do a cover of a song for their first performance.

Now with the current season of Britain’s Got Talent, yet another South African is inspiring the world with their talent and touching story.
Musa Motha’s Britain’s Got Talent win makes South Africans proud
South African born-contemporary dancer Musa Motha hails from Sebokeng, Vaal. However, the contemporary dancer is one of the beloved contemporary dancers in South Africa as he moved local audiences even given that his left leg is amputated. The cause was shared as a result of being diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a bone cancer, in 2006.
Initially, Musa auditioned for BGT after moving to London to further his career. A fact which meant that he made history as the first South African to get the group golden buzzer in the history of the show.
However, Musa continued to push the boundaries and inspire the world. This comes as it was confirmed that he, following his latest performance has made it as one of the first two finalists to have been guaranteed into the finals of the entire competition this season.
Following his win, now Musa is one step closer to winning the entire season and becoming the first South African to do so.
